Note: the four AES inputs and four pass-throughs are on a single 25 pin D-subminiature connector. For reference,

and for those intrepid solder jockeys who wish to build their own cables, the pin out diagram of the Digital in/thru

connector is shown above. This conforms to the Tascam wiring standard.
